Golden Ring

Today the winter garden of the Golden Ring hotel presents a business card of our company. The aluminum profiles could not be used due to the winter garden location on the roof of the building at 76 meters height, due to its form and small slope of the roof covering. The size of the profile cut has to be no less than 60x280mm to provide the structural strength. Such profile can not be bent and a profile with smaller cut would have required the use of subconstruction device.

The company designers suggested to apply the steel sections system developed by the German company RP-Technik. The additional frame device of the ferrous metal was not needed due to strength properties of this section, nearly two times exceeding those of the aliminium section of the same cut.

PR-Technik steel galvanized section, series RP-ISO-hermetic 60 M1-ISO-hermetic 60, colored with powdered colorant was applied for construction manufacturing.

Three types of the double glass panes were applied for the construction glazing:

• Double glass panes on the roofing, formula 6 Antelio Silver. 4K.1x 16 x 3.3.1;
• Bend double glass panes, formula 6 Antelio Silver x 20x 3.3.1;
• Flat double glaze panes on facade, formula 6 Antelio Silver x 24 x 4i

where:

• 6 Antelio Silver. 4K.1 is the electrically heated triplex including 6 mm Antelio Silver reflective glass and 4 mm glass with tough low emission covering;
• 3.3.1 is a triplex construction of two 3 mm glasses
• 4i is 4 mm glass with soft low emission covering
